We now offer a bespoke service that combines classic techniques and finishes to creative a distinctive hand crafted floor. Each distressed floor is unique and designed specifically for each customer, combining the beauty of an old reclaimed floor with the benefits of a new, wood product.
Our bespoke distressed floors are not intended to appear like a new floor but one that has see many years of use. Each floor has its own character, grain, knots and distinctive features setting it apart from any other floor. These floors provide a completely unique look guaranteed to add beauty and character to your home.
Following consultation with our clients we are able to offer a range floor finishes, stains, colours and sheens. Each bespoke floor is also distressed to the customer's specifications using hand crafted methods and techniques. Our bespoke flooring can be applied to both solid wood and engineered flooring meaning that it can be used in a wide variety of applications. We are extremely proud of the quality and craftsmanship that goes into our floors. As all of our bespoke floors are hand finished to the clients specifications they offer unlimited possibilities always resulting in a unique and beautifully crafted wooden floor.
Care & Maintenance...
Our work is not complete when our customer's floors are finished. At Restore My Floor we feel passionately about our work and strive to offer all our customers a complete after care service. Knowing how to correctly clean and maintain your wooden floor is important in ensuring the natural beauty of the timber remains year after year. After every installation or restoration our clients are always provided with instructions on how to clean and maintain their floors and we can also supply the products needed to carry this out. Using products that are specific to the floors finish will greatly prolong the life of the floor surface. Restore My Door...
As well as being able to take on all aspects of carpentry work, "restore my floor" can now also offer our customers a unique door restoration service. Working in conjunction with the country's leading architectural reclamation yard we now specialise in the restoration of antique doors; Georgian doors, Victorian doors and Edwardian doors including stained glass doors. As well as restoring original doors to their former glory we can also design and supply timber doors to match our customer's floors, whether they are made from reclaimed timbers or new hardwood.
